I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.

I have such fond childhood memories of times with Brian and the Lyons Park neighborhood gang. We had some fun times! I reconnected with him through Facebook a few years ago. It was so much fun looking at his posts about trucks, cattle and food. He was loving life. And then the unthinkable. The C word. We would message each other after his diagnosis because he spent a couple of years following my nephew Justin's battle with the same cancer. We exchanged knowledge about every aspect of the disease. I want the Kosko family to know my thoughts and prayers are with you all. He was a brave warrior who never gave up!

Dearest Brian,
You will remain in my heart all the days of my life. Thank you for the wonderful talks, visits, hugs, and shared memories.. especially while we both were getting chemo on the exact same days. How ironic! I miss you more than words can express.
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Kosko and Family,
My deepest heartfelt condolences to you. Brian was an amazing friend to me. He helped me to be strong and showed me what a real warrior looks like. I can see from talking to our peers that everyone who knew him..loved him.
You and yours shall remain in my thoughts through these difficult times. It gives me a sense of calm knowing Brian is with Our Lord.
May God Bless You and Comfort You..Now & Forever.
Love,
Lily

I dated Brian in high school. He was a senior and I was a junior. He was a photographer for the PBHS yearbook. He used to come into my classes and take pictures of me - I wouldn't be too happy about it but now when I see some of the photos he took in the yearbook I am so glad he did!
I can say he was truly my first love. Funny, after all these years I don't remember why we broke up - maybe because he graduated and I was still in school. These past years we were friends on facebook. I just recently - actually a few days ago - found out that he was so ill. I was very saddened to hear that and he has been on my mind ever since.
He was one of the kindest, gentlest men I have ever known. He always dressed so "cool" and his hair was perfect! I remember watching him and his band "The Bell Jar" (I think) and going for spicy tacos after. I still have the photo of us going to his senior prom and many great memories of our time together.
May he now rest in peace without pain and worry. He will be missed and will have a special place in my heart forever.
My thoughts are with his many friends and loving family. God Bless you all.
