You have made your way to your final journey, into the open arms of our Lord Jesus Christ. Although your leaving has left us here devastated, heartbroken and still filled with disbelief, you went when called upon. I told your Mom that although you still had so much left here to do, no time for I love you and good-byes, you rose up when he called upon you.... Very proudly in sure, which is no surprise ....... I hope you are dancing in the sky Katie, that you're singing in the Angels choir. I hope the Angels know what they have, I bet it's so nice in heaven since you arrived. Because here on earth everything's different, since you left, there's an emptiness. But we know that to be in the arms of out maker, is to be truly forever blessed. So yes.... Dance, dance, dance across the sky Katiebug😇
Just as you have so many that love and adore you here, I know you have just as many that were waiting with open arms for you there The last few times we spoke, you were grieving for a very good young friend of yours, like yourself that had made the journey at such a young age. You said the one comfort you had was knowing she was in the arms of the Lord. A beautiful Angel now and probably the one Angel with Attitude lol, but a good loving attitude I can only envision that there are now two Angels with Attitude up there . You are and always will be a good friend to me Katiebug and one that I will forever love and miss. You became the young lady this past year that you had always had the hope and desire to be. One that I as well as your Momma and many others knew you could be. You proved it to the world but more importantly to yourself hon. For us to be blessed to see that Katie, we all will be forever proud and grateful to you. You have so very earned your beautiful wings Katiebug You have triumphed in every way, no shortcomings, ill will feelings or negative thoughts will ever ever cross you again. You are 100% pure Angel now my dear friend. One that we will all be with again one day. Until then.... When we look up and see a bright, bright twinkle in the sky, we will know that's our Katiebug showering us with love as she gracefully flies by

Katie you were such a joy to be around our laughing crying sitting watching good movies will always be with me. I've only met Katie on and off over the last couple of years, but I noticed how much she progressed each time I saw her. She kept her health and education in the forefront and was trying to break out of her 'shy' shell. I was always happy to see her and so sad now to hear of her passing.
I'm praying for all of her family and friends through this difficult time.

Terri and Jodi,
I am so sorry that you have to go through the Lose of your wonderful daughter and loving sister. Losing a child is the worst pain a mother will ever have to go through. Take comfort in knowing she is in a better place and will never have to suffer from the pain and hurt we deal with in this world we live in.
Please know my friends that I will always be here for you, anytime you need a shoulder to cry on, someone to talk to or someone to just sit and be quiet with. I will keep you and you family in my thoughts and prayers. I love you both. God Bless

Katie was truly an amazing person and friend to me and will be missed by so many. She will forever be in our hearts and never forgotten. I want to express my deepest sympathies to her family and anybody else who knew Katie for this is truly a loss beyond words.

I can't believe you are gone little sister. I am devastated that you left me, but I am forever grateful to witness your transformation over the last year. You were so excited about finishing school, worked so hard to become healthy, enjoyed volunteering in your church that you loved so much and made us all so proud of you. We had so many plans, I thought we would have so much more time... I pray that I can find the strength get through one of the toughest times of my life until we see each other again.
