Although I only got to know Lew for a brief moment in his life, I always appreciated this good natured heart, his smiles, his stories & memories, his service to our country, for being an awesome neighbor to my parents and most importantly for the inspiration he gave to everyone he touched (knowingly or unknowingly) during his walk here. We will certainly miss him but he is now enriching the heavens with his smile and wonderful energy!

It is with sad hearts we say goodbye to Lou. We will remember him as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Our condolences to all of his family. Rest in peace, Lou.

This ole Marine was proud to have been his last eye doctor. We had a great visit, conversation and lots of photos. I will cherish all even though I had but a few moments of his life....
