Lani was a former advisor of mine at Apple, and kept in touch with me the last couple years as I was the last manager he reported to. Im deeply saddened to hear this news and my condolences go out to his family. Lani was a great guy, and model employee to have. He will be greatly missed.

LANI I KNOW THAT YOU KNEW THAT I WAS THERE WITH TIL THE LAST MINUTE.... I NEVER WANTED YOU TO BE ALONE... I HOPE YOU CAN REMEMBER ME YOUR BEST CARE GIVER.... THIS IS ONE OF THE HARDEST THINGS I HAVE EVER DONE. AS I LOOK BACK OVER THE LAST YEAR .... I CAN CLEARLY SEE THAT GOD WAS IN OUR EVERY STEO OF THE WAY. ALL I CAN SAY IS GOD BLESS TO APPLE,INC AS THEIR CARE IS UNREMARKABLE. I HAVE NEVER SEEN A COMPANY THAT HAS STAND BEHIND THEIR EMPLOYEES.
I WILL NEVER FORGET EACH STEP WE TOOK... LOOKING FOR TO SEEING YOU AGAIN.... NO MORE BAGS NO MORE IVS NO MORE SURGERIES NO MORE TRANSFUSION ROOMS NO CBCS NO MORE PAIN .... YOU ARE IN THE ARMS OF AN ANGEL....BUT WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS. LOVE YOU WITH ALL OF MY HEART.... I AM GOING TO MISS THAT 43 MILE DRIVE TO SHANDS.... I HOPE THAT I SETUP EVERYTHING AS YOU EXPECTED.... MY GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU TILL I GET THERE....

I was so saddened from the news of Lani's passing, but also comforted with the knowledge that his pain and suffering was over and that he his finally at peace and with the Lord. I pray that all of his family also find some peace and comfort during this sad time. I love you.
