Travis Bruce Stinson

Mr. Travis Bruce Stinson, 66, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at his residence following an illness. He is the son of the late Thomas Stinson and is preceded in death by one sister Belinda White and a brother Daron Stinson. Mr. Bruce had made Lake City his home for most of his life. He served his country in The United States Airforce enjoyed deep sea fishing, going to the Smokey Mountains, and spending time with his family and Baxter the hound. He was an avid Tennessee Volunteer’s Fan and NASCAR Fan whose favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt, Sr.

Mr. Bruce is survived by his mother Ms. Betty Brackin, Geneva, AL; one son Travis Stinson (Sadie) Panama City, FL; one daughter Telesha Stinson (Christian Jasperson) Panama City, FL; one sister Tomi Joyce Brown (Bruce) Lake City, FL; two grandchildren Lilah Jasperson and Baxter Stinson.

Visitation for Mr. Bruce Stinson will be held Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Gateway Forest lawn Funeral Home in Lake City, FL. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023, at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Geneva, Alabama at 11:00 A.M. (Central Time) with Reverend Reggie McAllister officiating.
