Travis Moore Renegar, beloved son, brother, husband, father and friend, age 39 of Fort White, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at his home in Fort White. Travis was born in Gainesville, Florida and has made Fort White his home since 2001 having previously lived in Alachua and Camp Verde, Arizona. He was a graduate of Fort White High School class of 2002, a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and he worked for many years with Tight-Seal Inc. in High Springs. Travis never met a stranger and loved spending time with his family and friends who became family; he also loved animals, particularly his dogs and cats. He could do anything he set his mind to….welding, construction, automotive repair, fabrication and if it could be done with his hands, he could do it. In his spare time, Travis enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by one son, Logan Cole Renegar in 2013.
Survivors include his wife, Laurie A. Renegar, Fort White; his father, Charles Moore Renegar, Jr., Fort White; his mother, Pennie W. Lefkowitz (Steve), High Springs; two children, Gage Moore Renegar and Sahara Mooregan Renegar both of Fort White; one sister, D. Abigail Renegar (Edward J. Parker), Plantation, FL; father-in-law, Larry Schultz, High Springs; mother-in-law, Pamela Davidson (Roland), Providence; two sisters-in-law, Michelle Schultz, High Springs and Beth Maloney (Tim), Lake Butler; two nieces, Hailey and Kassidy Maloney both of Lake Butler; and many extended family and friends.
Funeral services for Travis will be conducted on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 4:00 PM in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel. A time of visitation with the family will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
