Tony Randall Gaskins

Tony Randall Gaskins, 56, of Lake City, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023 after a sudden illness. He was born in Lake City on September 13, 1967 to the late Randall and Vernice Gaskins. He has lived all of his life here in Lake City worked for a number of years in the Log Trucking industry as well as ran construction equipment. Once he retired, he became a Part-Owner with his son in his business, Porch Deck Solutions; and had just recently opened their catering business together, Fall Off the Bone Bar-B-Que. In his spare time, he enjoyed cooking, riding his side by side, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family, kids and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Donna Williams Gaskins; and his son, Brandon Lee Gaskins.

He is survived by his children, Scott Gaskins of Lake City and Samantha Gaskins of Lake City; brothers, Roy Gaskins (Vickie) of Jasper and Ronnie Gaskins (Carol) of Wellborn; and his sister, Angie Sistrunk (Raleigh) of Lake City. Five grandchildren, Paisley Rose, Hunter Randall, Kaydance Marie, Madison Lynn and Oaklee Rae also survive.

A funeral service for Mr. Gaskins will be conducted on Monday, November 13, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the Williams Cemetery. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Sunday afternoon, November 12, 2023 from 3:00-5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
