Terry S Campbell

Terry Steve Campbell, 79 of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023 at the Suncoast Hospice South Pinellas Care Center Bayfront Health.  He was born in Trenton, New Jersey to the late George Campbell and Doris Drew Campbell.  Mr. Campbell was an Electrical Contractor owning and operating Campbell’s Electric in the St. Petersburg area for over 20 years.  He loved adventure, traveling, fishing, playing pool and cards. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, George Campbell.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Linda Stewart Campbell, St. Petersburg; two children, Terry “T.J.” Campbell, Jr. (Windy), Kenner, LA and Melanie Campbell Borne (Gerard), Norco, LA; his brother, Bruce Campbell (Cheryl), St. Petersburg; five grandchildren, Terry “Trey” Campbell, III, Brandon Campbell, Gerard Borne, Jr., Garrett Borne and Chloe Campbell; nieces and nephews, Ryan Campbell (Danielle), Tanner Biernat, Talan Biernat, Kim and Eric Hoffman and family, and Chris, Tim Houlihan, Drew Hoffman (Coleen, Kelsey and Reese) and Heather Beck (Chris, Brant and Hunter).

Funeral services for Mr. Campbell will be conducted on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Dr. Billy Young, Senior Pastor at Hopeful Baptist Church, officiating.  Interment will follow at Hopeful Baptist Church Cemetery.  A time of visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.  Terry loved breakfast so at a later date the family will hold a breakfast Celebration of Life at Americana Cove in St. Petersburg.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hopeful Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
