Ruth Young Obituary

Ruth E. Young, 89 of Trenton, Florida, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024 at the Harbor Chase of Gainesville. Mrs. Young was born in Maoka, Japan and had made Fort White her home since 1996 having previously lived in Dade County. Following the passing of her husband, Frederick A. Young in 2012, Mrs. Young made her home with her son and his family in Trenton. She was a member of Tustenuggee Methodist Church in Fort White and also the Order of the Eastern Star and Amaranth. Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her parents, Isao and Kisao Harada; her husband, Frederick A. Young; and one son, Stephen Young.

Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Mark and Cheryl Young, Trenton; four grandchildren, Ashley Thoron (Andrew), Tifton, GA, Shawn Young, Trenton, Johnathon Young and Jacob Young both of Texas.

A private family service honoring the life of Mrs. Young was held at the family home.
