Robin "Robbie" Wynn MacDonald

Robin “Robbie” Wynn MacDonald, 60 of Fort White, Florida, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the Lake City Medical Center in Lake City.  He was born in St. Petersburg, Florida to the late Richard “Audie” Zegel and Sharon “Sherri” Ball.  Mr. MacDonald had made his home in Ft. White since 1997 having moved here from St. Petersburg.  He was an aircraft mechanic for many years and was had been working for Haeco in Lake City since 1996.  Mr. MacDonald enjoyed drag racing, restoring cars, riding his Harley and spending time with his family and friends.  He was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by his parents, and one daughter, Michele Trunnell.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Cynthia MacDonald and their two fur babies, “Dottie” and “Coco”, Ft. White; three children, Marcey Vickers (Bryan), Seminole, FL, Bobby Trunnell (Dori), Ft. White and Robbie MacDonald (Kayla), St. Thomas, Virgin Islands; siblings, Audrey Staggs (Brad), Reddington Beach, FL, Michele Zegel, Florida, Sandra Little (David), Lakeland, FL, Terry Sorensen,  St. Petersburg, FL and Larry MacDonald (Kim), St. Petersburg, FL; 5 grandchildren, Michael Brooks (Jesse), Julie Antonino (Micah), Neil Whitney-Vickers (Kianna), Austin Vickers and Taylor Vickers; and 2 great-grandchildren, Zeppelin Whitney-Vickers and Little B. also survive.

A memorial service honoring the life of Mr. MacDonald will be conducted on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 6:00 PM in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel.  Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
