Raylen Mathis Obituary

Raylen Nicole Mathis, daughter of Freddy Ray Mathis and Deseray Nicole Powell, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at the Lake City Medical Center in Lake City. 

 

Raylen was loved by all of her family and is survived by her parents, Freddy Ray Mathis, Steinhatchee and Deseray Nicole Powell, Lake City; grandparents, Harold Eugene “Bo” Powell, Jr. (Michelle Parker), Lake City; great-grandparents, Melissa Pafford (David), Jacksonville, Harold Powell, Sr. (Beth), Lake City and Sue Powell, Lake City; great great-grandmother, Betty Jean Baker, Lake City; uncles and aunts, Dalton Powell (Alisha), Lake City, Dylan Powell, Lake City, Nicholas Westphal, Michigan, Damien Andrews, Curtis Powell and Harold Powell, III all of Lake City; great aunt, Michelle Powell Hammett (Kenneth), Lake City; and numerous extended family also survives.

 

Funeral services for Raylen will be conducted on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at 3:00 PM in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Rev. Cagney Tanner, officiating.  Interment will follow at Hopeful Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be prior to the service at the funeral home from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
