Pierrette Rosenfeld

Pierrette Rosenfeld, 90, of Lake City, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, September 17, 2022 at the Solaris Healthcare in Lake City after a brief illness. She was born in Montreal, Canada on November 4, 1931 to the late Gaston Lamoureux and Lea Patenaude Lamoureux. She has made Lake City her home for the last 20 years, moving here from Hollywood, Florida. She was a homemaker and was a member of the First Baptist Church here in Lake City. She attended school in Montreal, Canada and moved to the US in the early 1950’s. She moved to Florida in 1966. She loved playing bingo, arts & crafts, enjoyed shopping and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. She was also a member of the Senior Adult Church Choir at First Baptist Church & enjoyed trips with the Senior Group from the church; she also enjoyed going to the beach when she lived in Hollywood. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Rosenfeld in 2001.

She is survived by her sons, Joel Rosenfeld (Sharon) of Lake City and Les Rosenfeld (Georgette) of Port St. Lucie. Grandchildren, Dr. Kelly Tepedino (Dr. Miguel), Betsy Spradley (Keith), Jason Rosenfeld (Caitlyn), Jennifer Groditski (Paul) and Jordan Rosenfeld; along with her great-grandchildren, Kaylie, Ella, Ava, Lucas, Xander, Sofia and Olivia also survive.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 1:00-2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home. There will be PRIVATE family service that will be held with Mr. Mike Federico officiating.
