Mrs. Peggy Ann Robison, 66, passed away, on September 14, 2022, at the Suwannee Valley Care Center (Haven Hospice) in Lake City, FL following an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late David and Peggy Younghans Toms, she was preceded in death by one brother David Toms. Peggy made her home in Lake City for the past twenty-five years after moving here from Orlando, FL; she enjoyed going to the casinos and playing slot machines she was known as the “Slot Machine Queen” she enjoyed being a wellness coach and watching people improve themselves, she liked fishing, hosting parties, and decorating for Christmas inside and out of her home. She served as president of the Columbia County foster association she and her husband have fostered over forty-seven boys in their group home over the years and were the director of the Society of Security Analysis at Broadway and Wallstreet.
Peggy is survived by her husband of forty years David Robison, Lake City, FL; three sons David Robison, Texas, Shawn Smith, Illinois, and Tommy Robison, Missouri, three daughters Debbie Robison, and Tracy Robison, of Missouri, Amy Marts (Dennis) Lake City, FL; and Kathy Tygart, Illinois, one brother Mark Toms, Orlando, FL; one sister Cherri Toms, North Carolina, sixteen grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Monday, September 19, 2022, at 6:00 P.M. in the chapel of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with speaker Mark Toms officiating, the family will receive friends for one hour before service time at the chapel.
