Pauline Brown Obituary

Pauline L. Brown, 75 of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at the Haven Suwannee Valley Hospice Care Center in Lake City.  She was a lifelong resident of Lake City and was the fourth child of five to the late Reamer and Nadine Bishop Harrington.  Mrs. Brown was a graduate of Columbia High School class of 1964.  She had worked many years locally as a hairdresser and retired from New River Prison with many years of service.  Mrs. Brown was known for her funny sayings, her sense of humor and her get it done attitude.  She loved to spend time with her family and friends, playing bingo, shooting her guns, glamping and fishing on the Suwannee River.  Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her son, David Jeffrey Lyons.

 

Survivors include her husband, Charles C. Brown, Lake City; her daughter, Deborah L. Nash (Michael A.), Lake City; one brother, Tommy Harrington (Pat), Lake City; three sisters, Evelyn Kay and Geraldine Kent both of Lake City and Linda Gail Stratton, Petal, MS; two grandsons, David-Alan Tyler Nash and Jordan Garrett Nash both of Lake City; one great-grandson, Tyson Alan Nash, Lake City; and long time friend, Susan Kirkland, Lake City. 

 

Private graveside services were held, for immediate family due to Covid-19, at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery with interment following.
