Ouida Lurlene (Kilcrease) Malone

Ouida Lurlene Malone, 65 of Lake City, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the Shands at Lake Shore Hospital in Lake City following an extended illness.  She was born in Crestview, Florida, the baby of seven children, to the late Willie Edward Kilcrease, Sr. and Elma Marie Austin Kilcrease.  Ms Malone was raised in both the Crestview and Baker communities and was a graduate of Crestview High School class of 1973.  She was a longtime resident of Ft. White and had worked for 30 years with the General Electric Battery Plant in Alachua and then the Dollar General Distribution Center for 9 years.  Ms Malone loved to spend time with her family, especially her granddaughter.  She was preceded in death by 3 siblings, Malcolm Kilcrease, Hazel Garrett and Ruby Mayhair.

Survivors include her children, Michael Malone and Stephanie Malone (Michael Milligan) all of Lake City; her siblings, Sheila Odom, Lake City, Willie E. Kilcrease, Jr. (Betty), Irving, TX and Jerry Kilcrease, Canton, GA; one granddaughter, Rileigh Milligan, Lake City; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Private family services were held.
