Lori Jackson Williams, 58, of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday, September 8th, 2021 at Lake City Medical Center. She was born in Lake City to Sylvia Stuart Williams and the late William Theophilus “Theo” Jackson and has remained in Columbia County all of her life. She is preceded in death by her sister, Andi J. White.
Lori was a loving wife, mother, memaw, daughter, sister and aunt; who enjoyed camping, boating, going to the beach with family and friends, and devoting time to her family. She attended First Advent Christian Church. She was employed for 31 years as a Customer Service Representative with Clay Electric in Gainesville, FL.
Survivors include her loving husband of 20 years, Coby Williams; daughter, Priscilla McDonald (Charlie) Bell; grandson, Easton Bell; mother, Sylvia Williams; sisters, Rhonda (Sonny) Harrington, Eva “April” (Harry) Wood, JoDean Cooper and Kori (Dave) Piatz; brothers, Hal Williams (April) and David Williams (Marisol). Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
A funeral service for Lori will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at the First Advent Christian Church at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Fred O. Gaylard, Jr., officiating. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, September 15, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family asks and requests that masks be worn at the visitation and services.
