Obituary
Linda Joyce Holstein, 80, of Branford, passed away on Wednesday morning, April 26, 2023 at Haven Hospice after short illness. She was born in West Palm Beach Florida on September 9, 1942. She has lived in Gainesville, Florida and Branford, Florida areas for over the last 22 years. Linda’s childhood was spent hunting, fishing, fixing cars and anything else her daddy taught her to do. As an adult she was a waitress, cook, ran an ice cream truck, raced cars, and welded. She was one to play really good tricks and make people laugh. For fun Linda loved to go antiquing and decorate for the holidays . She was Pentecostal in faith.
She is survived in by her sisters: Audrey Giles, Shirley Porter, Ruby Price, Carol Duff and Connie Duff (Johnny); brothers: Brady O’Neal (Carlene) and Clarence O’Neal; son: Randy Defee (Jeanie Kaye); daughters: Theresa Arnold (Wayne) and Cindy Wild. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grand children.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents: JD and Bessie O’Neal; brother: Michael O’Neal and son: Ricky Defee.
Linda will forever be missed by her family and all that knew her.
