Lawrence F. Huddle, 81 of Lake City, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020, at the Haven Suwannee Valley Hospice Care Center in Lake City. He was born in Chester, Pennsylvania the fifth child of seven to the late Ernest and Virginia Lundy Huddle. Mr. Huddle had made his home in the Lake City and Wellborn area for the past 20 years having previously lived in Bradenton and Marathon in the Florida Keys. He was an electrician by trade and loved growing his garden and raising animals on his farm. He was passionate about racing and enjoyed driving his dirt modified race car #64 when he was living in Pennsylvania. Mr. Huddle enjoyed fishing when able, especially with his two grandsons. He was preceded in death by five siblings, Dickey, Everett, Mildred, Lee, and Douglas.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Doris J. Huddle, Lake City; two daughters, Linda Huddle (Sherrie Branson), Henderson, KY and Sharon Huddle, Lake City; one sister, Edith Huddle, Wilmington, DE; two grandsons, Nick Harmeling (Bobbie), Pearl Harbor, HI and Craig Harmeling (Jenni) Centerville, OH; and seven great grandchildren also survive.
