Kathryn Eugenia "Nanna" Little

Kathryn Eugenia Little (Nanna) 78, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2021. She was born on November 15, 1942 in Bradenton, Florida and was the daughter of Phillip Eugene Douglas and Doris Ruth Oliver both deceased. Kathryn was raised in Lulu, Florida and lived out her life in Lake City, Florida; she had 5 siblings, Carolyn Jones (Bill) both deceased, Donna Smith (Bill deceased), Phyllis Stuart (JB deceased), Darriel McKinnon (Sherry), Billie Leslie (Mike). Kathryn loved spending time with her family more than anything, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved family dinners where everyone was invited, and she considered everyone family. She was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and she truly loved serving others; she served in various callings throughout the years, but her time in Relief Society and the relationships built through her association with those sisters was dear to her heart. Kathryn served as an ordinance worker in the Orlando, Florida Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and she loved serving there. She loved genealogy work and knowing her family history. She also enjoyed “Brit Box” and her “Cracker Barrell Dates”.  Kathryn is survived by her eternal companion and husband Donald Ellis Little Sr., son -Robert (Bobby) Jackson Waters Jr (Janet preceded Kathryn in death)., son - Dennis Wayne Waters, son - Curtis Oliver Waters, daughter - Tracy Annette Little (preceded Kathryn in death) daughter - Kathryn Regina Ball, daughter - Donna Marie Little, son - Donald Ellis Little Jr (Tawnya). Kathryn had 19 grandchildren, Robert Chad Waters (Rachel) 2 children, Deanna Michelle Waters (Zedric) 2 children, Johnadam Waters (Chelsea) 3 children, Curtis Oliver Waters Jr. (preceded Kathryn in death), Robert David Waters, Johnny Josiah Ward IV (Joey), Brian Christopher Ward (Alex) 2 children), Amanda Sharee Dunn (David) 3 children), Kaylee Nicole Beekman, Johnathon Neal Slater (Christy) 4 children), Donald Jene Slater (Samantha) 4 children, Phillip Alan Lynch (Autumn) 2 children, Kathryn Marie Austin (Scott) 5 children, Scott Richard Austin Jr. (Lauren) 3 children, Michael Christopher Lee, Jordan Skyler Williams, Morgan Siera Malecki (Brandon) 2 children, Taylor McKinzie Little, Logan Ashley Martinez (Irving) 2 children. Kathryn also loved dearly Christopher Darren Summers and Christina Diane Summers and their 3 children, who only knew her as “nanna”, Cole Darren Summers, Emma Diane Summers and Hyrum Christopher Summers. Funeral services will be conducted at 11am on Monday February 15, 2021 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Old Country Club Road. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, February 14, 2021 from 3-5pm at the gathering center of Donald Little Jr. 1859 SW Little Rd. Lake City, Fl. 32024.
