Kathryn "Kathy" Bailey

Kathryn “Kathy” Lorraine Sellers Bailey, 64, of Wellborn, passed away on Saturday evening, July 10, 2021 at North Florida Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. She was born in Miami, Florida on August 27, 1956 to the late Stanley Sellers and Mary Gollattscheck Suiter. She has made Wellborn her home most of her life and was a homemaker all of her life. She was a member of the Mt. Beulah Baptist Church in Wellborn; and in her spare time, enjoyed fishing, hunting, metal detecting and just being in the woods. She is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Keith D. Bailey in 2017.

She is survived by her children, Danny Bailey, Barney Bailey (Jeanie) and Philip Bailey all of Wellborn; grandchildren, Dylan Bailey, Garrett Bailey and Alexis Bailey all of Wellborn; brothers, Bobby Sellers (Cheryl) of Wellborn, Johnny Sellers (Mary) of Frost Proof and David Sellers (Marie) also of Frostproof. Two sisters, Joyce Baumgardner of Vero Beach and Waunita Burder (Joe) of Michigan also survive.

A funeral service for Mrs. Bailey will be conducted on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the Mt. Beulah Baptist Church with Pastor Dale Brannon and Pastor Lewis Gooch officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 A.M. (one hour prior to the services) at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations please be considered to the St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
