Julian Hall

Ernest Julian Hall, 75, of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, November 10, 2021 at the North Florida Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness. Julian, as he was known by many or “Jules” amongst his family, was born in Evergreen, Alabama on February 8, 1946 to the late Ernest “Pat” Hall and Mildred Johnson Hall; he moved back to Florida with his family at the age of 7 and was educated at Murray Hill School in the Little Creek area north of Lake City. He was employed with Etheridge Furniture for many years and while working there, was sent to Amana, Iowa to Appliance School. In 1979, he started his own business, Julian Hall’s Appliance Service, which he owned and ran actively until his passing. He attended Oak Grove Baptist Church and was very musically talented. Julian is preceded in death by his parents, Pat Hall & Mildred Hall Commander; his loving wife, Shirley Ann Hall; children, Ricky Hall & Windy Hall Tang; and his grandchild, Jayce Collins.

He is survived by his son, Timmy (Shannon) Hall; grandchildren, Courtney (Stephen) Collins, Lauren (Cody) Beadles, Bryan Mitchell, Katie (Dylan) Sessions, Jayden Hall, T.J. Hall, Bryce Tang and Gracie Hall; great-grandchildren, Raleigh & Avery Beadles, Cohyn & Jaxon Collins, David Mitchell, Blakely Sessions and another on the way! He is also survived by his brother, Danny (Beverly) Hall and his sister, Linda (Jerry) Baugh along with many nieces and nephews along with his longtime weekend buddies, Earl Stafford and Cliffton Crowder.

A graveside funeral service for Julian will be conducted on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 1007 NE Needmore Rd, White Springs, FL, 32096, with Pastor Randy Ogburn officiating. Interment will follow. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. prior to the services.
