Obituary
James Edward Price departed this life on May 18, 2023 at home surrounded by family after a long health battle. He entered into heavenly rest with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Mr. Price was born on May 10, 1935 and was a former Marine who served this country that he loved.
He is survived by Bonnie Price, his wife of 64 years. Three children, Tommy Price (Fifi), Brenda Brinkley (Allen) and Deneen Green (Lowell) all of Lake City. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and one sister, Jamie Myers of Montana.
Mr. Price was Sergeant James Edward Price in the United States Marine Corps from 1953-1958. He was in the Second Marine Division stationed in the U.S. Embassy in Iran. He served there for 28 months as a Marine security guard. While enlisted with the USMC, he traveled to 28 foreign countries.
His family will celebrate his life and legacy in a private manner as was his request.
