Jacqueline Willene Smart, 69 of High Springs, passed away at her home on Friday, September 16, 2022. She was born in Tifton, Georgia, the fourth of six children, to the late Julian Tucker and Ella Mae Vaughn Tucker. Mrs. Smart was raised in Clearwater and had made High Springs her home since 1982 having previously lived in Haines City. She along with her husband, owned and operated Smart Liquidation in Lake City for many years. Mrs. Smart loved spending time with her family and friends, all of her many animals, going to the beach and salt water fishing with her husband. She was preceded in death by her parents; and three siblings, Donnie Tucker, Brenda Tucker and Wyatt Register.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence R. Smart, High Springs; four children, Angela King (Robbie Robinson), Alachua, Mark Cribbs, Lake City, Robbie Smart (Janna), Jessup, GA and Matt Smart, Waycross, GA; two sisters, Peggy Tucker, Melrose and Charlotte Register, High Springs; and seven grandchildren, Brandon (Erin), Amber, Travis, Drema, Landon, Maddie and Alex.
A graveside funeral service for Mrs. Smart will be conducted on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Interment will follow. A visitation will be held on Friday evening from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center at 6037 West US Hwy 90, Lake City, FL 32055
