Hollis Eugene Warner

Mr. Hollis Eugene Warner, 80, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his family following an illness. He is the son of the late John and Eva Tomlinson Warner and is preceded in death by one grandson, Colby Pearish. Mr. Hollis had made Lake City, FL his home for the past forty-three years. He was of the Baptist Faith and a member of White Springs Baptist Church. He enjoyed going to the mountains, gardening, flowers, spending time with his family, and playing with his grandchildren. During his last days, he especially enjoyed watching Westerns and eating Oatmeal Crème Pies.  He previously worked at Occidental before retiring from driving a truck in 2010.

Mr. Hollis is survived by his wife of forty-four years, Joyce Buzbee Warner, Lake City, FL; one son Robbie Weaver (Cindy) Keystone Heights, FL; Charlotte Wishard (Jody) Keystone Heights, FL;  (#1) Keri Spradley (Mark) Lake City, FL; Kristie Croft ( #1 John) Lake City, FL; Holly Pearish (Bill) Joplin, MO, Kim Warner, Lake City, FL; and Melissa Warner, Joplin, MO. Eighteen grandchildren, Alex, Tessa, Tori, Kurtiss, Kyle (Rachael); Maci (Mike); Robin (Leland); Jay (Monica); Emma, Cortnie, Bubs, Spaz, Alex, Liam, Brandon, Hollis, Savannah, and Tristan. And a host of great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Hollis Warner will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 4:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church White Springs with Reverend Mark Spradley officiating. In Lieu of Flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Haven Hospice 6037 West US HWY 90 Lake City, FL 32055. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Lake City, 3596 South US HWY 441 Lake City, FL.
