Ginger Lee Rogers

Ms. Ginger Lee Rogers, 63, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023, at Solaris Nursing Home in Lake City, FL. following an extended illness. She is the daughter of the late Jay Rogers and Rosa Lee Sanders. She is preceded in death by one brother Jimmy Rogers. Ms. Ginger made Branford and the Lake City area her home for most of her life. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed, art, drawing, coloring, crossword puzzles, and playing card games (Gin Rummy), singing, and her Chihuahuas. She was an avid Florida Gator Fan.

Ms. Ginger is survived by two brothers Roy Rogers (Sherry) Florida; and Mitch Rogers (Angel) Lake City, FL; her nephews Jamie Rogers (Nicole) Lake City, FL; Steven Rogers, Tennessee, Josiah, Tyler, and Brayden Rogers all of Lake City, FL. and Michael Rogers and Jason Rogers (Missy) of Quincy, FL; four nieces Jessica Zimmerman (Trevor) Middleburgh, FL; Meghann Williamson (Bryan) Lake City, FL, Sonya Merritt (Ron) and Lisa Parker (John). Plus, a host of great nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Ms. Ginger Lee Rogers will be conducted on Friday, May 12, 2023, at 3:00 P.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Pastor Seth Byrd officiating. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to service time at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Interment will take place at a later date at Oak Grove Cemetery in Branford, FL.
