George Earl Boston

Mr. George Earl Boston, 90, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at the Baya Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness he is the son of the late Clarence Alva, Sr. and Vera Anderson Boston. He is preceded in death by two sons Derek and Buddy Boston one daughter Brenda Boston, and two brothers C.A. Boston and Gerald Boston. Mr. George was a lifetime resident of Lake City, FL, and was of the Pentecostal faith. Mr. George loved to share the Word of God. He traveled to Central America over a thousand times handing out Bibles. His goal was to save as many people as possible, and Central America won his heart. He will definitely be missed. Mr. George’s favorite scripture was Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

 Mr. George is survived by four sons Dean Boston (Peggy) Jasper, FL; Dennis Boston (Dirdea); Lake City, FL; George “Danny” Daniel Boston, Lake City, FL; and Aden Boston. One daughter Sandra Boston, Union City, CA; one brother Tommy Boston, Lake City, FL; two sisters Edith and Linda. Ten grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Friday, September 22, 2023, at Siloam United Methodist Church Cemetery. With Reverend Stan Ellis officiating.
