Franklin T. Croft, 77 of Lake City, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at his home. He was born in Lake City, Florida to the late Eugene and Gertie Lucille Rogers Croft. Mr. Croft was a mason by trade since he was 16 years old. He was the owner of Frank Croft Masonry and was actively working at the time of his passing. Mr. Croft enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time and truly loved being at Horseshoe and fishing offshore. He was always willing to help family and friends with their needs. Mr. Croft was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice Croft.
Survivors include his sister, Dorothy Hopkins of Branford; son, Jessie Matthews (Annette) of Hudson, FL; granddaughter, Danielle Hale (Tony) of North Carolina; two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Riley Hale of North Carolina; two nephews, Robert C. Dees (Sissy) of Live Oak and Thomas W. Raulerson (Cindy) of Ocala; two great nephews, Draker Raulerson of Las Vegas, NV and Keith C. Bohannon of Ocala; great niece, Kimber Carelli (Dave) of Las Vegas, NV; two great-nephews, Conor and Bryce Carelli of Las Vegas, NV.
A gathering of friends and family will be on Saturday, September 12, 2020 starting at 11:00 AM, at Mr. Croft's home.
