Faye Cannon Obituary

Mrs. Faye Cannon, 92 of Branford, passed away at her home on Saturday, February 13, 2021.  She was born in Adel, Georgia, the youngest of 13 children, to the late Littleton Allbriton Young and Ella Tyson Young.  Mrs. Cannon had lived most her life in Branford and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Branford.  She enjoyed fishing and spending time with and cooking for her family and friends.  Mrs. Cannon was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 64 years, Mr. T.D. Cannon in 2007; one son, Carl Cannon and one infant son; and 12 siblings. 

 

Survivors include her children, Dewayne Cannon (Marsha Rae), Lake City, Edna Roberts (Jim), O’Brien and Gary Cannon (Michelle), High Springs; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Cannon will be conducted on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at 2:00 PM at the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Pastor Dustin Crews officiating.  Interment will follow at the Santa Fe Cemetery in Branford.  Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service on Wednesday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.  Services will be live streamed and available to view by visiting Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Facebook.
