Eunice Clarice Davis

Ms. Eunice Clarice Davis, 89, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023, at the HCA Florida Hospital in Lake City after an extended illness. She is the daughter of the late Samuel Sullivan Milligan and Earlie Helen Feagle and the widow of the late Raymond David Davis, Sr. She is preceded in death by her daughter Becky Davis two brothers Edward and James Milligan, and four sisters Lucille Denison, and Roseann Edwards, Jewel Milligan, and Louise Morris. Ms. Eunice was a lifelong resident of Columbia County and attended Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, enjoyed reading her bible, watching church on tv, and doing word search puzzles she was known as “Granny” to many.

Ms. Eunice is survived by her two sons, Jay Davis (Suzanne); Raymond David Davis, Jr., both of Lake City, FL and two daughters, Barbara Ann Jenkins (Jerry, Sr.) Lake City, FL; and Gail Hingson (Marvin) Live Oak, one brother, Clarence Milligan, Lake City. Fourteen grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for Ms. Eunice will be conducted Monday, May 15, 2023, in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Lonnie Johns officiating.  Interment will follow in Memorial Cemetery in Lake City, FL. Visitation with the family will be held at 10:00 A.M. at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
