Eddie Dean Dentmon, 66, of Lake City FL passed away Monday, Jan 10, 2022 surrounded by his family at his residence.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother and uncle. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He is a skilled carpenter by trade and an all around handyman and "shade tree" mechanic.

He was born in Centre, AL as one of ten children. He is preceeded in death to Marshall and Margeret Dentmon and several siblings.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine Dentmon. Six children: Melisa (Marcus) Larey of Andrews, NC; Suzanne (Hollis) Herring, Cairo, GA; Joshua Johnson, Lake City, FL; Daniel (Shayna) Dentmon, Bartlesville, OK; Angela Hurst, Lake City, FL; Crystal (Brandon) Craig, Lake City, FL; siblings, Sue (Tony) Drummonds; Marshall (Connie) Dentmon; Terry (Sandy) Dentmon; and Larry Joe (Lauren) Dentmon

Fifteen Grandchildren: Kassi, Trevor Jacob, Dean, Deanna, Francisco (Junior), Taylor, Jace, Chance, Keaton, Nathaniel, Daniel, Kiley, Aubree and Arya.

The family is accepting flowers at the residence or you can make a donation to the American Cancer Society.

There will be a family and friend gathering/cookout at the Dentmon residence on Saturday, Jan 15, 2022 at 2:00 PM.
