Donald Wayne Arth, 70, of Lake City, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. He was born in Jacksonville, FL on March 28, 1950 to the late Charles Sumner Arth and Louise Clementine Stadtler Arth. He has made the Lake City area his home since the mid 1970’s and worked for over 30 years as an Electrician with PCS Phosphate. He was of the Episcopalian faith and in his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his family and friends and FSU Football. He is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Jim Thomas.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sandy Arth of Lake City; daughters, Tracey Gutierrez (Steve) of Saudi Arabia, Melissa Skelton (Bryan) of White Springs, FL and step daughter, Kelly Disbrow (Rachel) of Panama City, FL; brother, Charles Sumner Arth (Betty) of Orange Springs, FL; sisters, Roni Kelly (Terry) of Lake City, FL and Cecelia Thomas of Sun City, FL. Four grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.
A graveside celebration of life service for Mr. Arth will be conducted on Monday, October 4, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME.
