Delores Marie Robertson

Delores Marie Robertson, 89 of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at the Haven Hospice Chiefland Care Center in Chiefland.  She was born in Max, North Dakota to the late Herman Joseph Schreiner and Lucille Margaret Lakaduk Schreiner.  Mrs. Robertson had made her home in Lake City since 2007 having previously lived in Jennings since 1988.  She was an avid Tampa Bay Bucs and New York Yankees fan.  Mrs. Robertson was a very caring person and she enjoyed helping people and spending time with her family.  Her hobbies included sewing, gardening and shopping.  She was of the Catholic faith and member of Epiphany Catholic Church.  Mrs. Robertson was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Capt. Russell L. Robertson; and six brothers, Herman J. Schreiner, Jr., Burton N. Schreiner, Joseph R. Schreiner, Leo J. Schreiner, Kenneth R. Schreiner and Marvin Schreiner.

Survivors include her children, Burt Robertson (Alison), Lake City, Christie Robertson, Alexandria, VA and Rita Adams, Belleville, IL; five siblings, Rita Caudle (Eugene), Leon J. Schreiner, Clayton H. Schreiner (Sherrie) and Daryl W. Schreiner (Melinda) all of Vancouver, WA and Bernard W. Schreiner, Richfield, WA; two sisters-in-law, Lola Schreiner, Vancouver, WA and Marita Schreiner, Washougal, WA; her longtime caretaker and earthly angel, Suzzana Kennedy, Lake City; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Father Bob Hoffman officiating.  Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.  Private interment will be held later at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
