Debra Fitzpatrick

Mrs. Debra Jane Sutton Larson Fitzpatrick, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home, early morning on Thursday, May 27th, 2021. She was proudly the daughter of the late Reginald W. Sutton and Jane Phillips Sutton. Preceded in death, also, by her son Justin Robert Larson; her brothers Douglas Sutton and Dennis Sutton; her dogs Princess Isabella (Izzy) and Eden Fitzpatrick. She is survived by her loving husband, caretaker and hero, John Fitzpatrick who is affectionately known as Fitz; her two daughters, Kyla Larson and Lacey Larson McCarthy (husband Michael McCarthy); her grandchildren, Jalen and Kadence Wade (Kyla), Atari McCarthy and granddogter Zesty McCarthy (Lacey), who all lovingly called her Booboo; Children-in-love include Aaron Fitzpatrick of Vista, CA; Marjorie and Jeff Wasson of Silver City, NM; Virginia and Jason Reyes of Dallas ,TX; Katie and Zach Johnson and their children Clara, Joy and Trace of Sparta, KY. Countless other family members, by blood and by heart, will miss her terribly.

Debra was born in Kansas City, MO, but called Florida her home the majority of her life. She loved the beach, mermaids and all things magical. She was a plant goddess and an amazing cook.  If you knew her, you knew a best friend and  someone that would give you anything you needed, whether she had it or not. She was resourceful, creative and artistic. You could see that in everything she did, from the passionate way that she loved to do hair for her clients, to the way she lived her life to the fullest. Our loving mother, amazing wife, wonderful sister, cherished daughter and caring friend was always colorful, beautiful and full of life. She will be greatly missed by everyone who has ever met her.

Debra will be cremated and her memorial service will be Thursday, June 3rd at 1pm EST at Gateway-Forest Lawn in Lake City, FL. She would have loved for you to wear something that reminds you of her (floral, birds, ocean, beach or Gypsy bohemian).
