Obituary
Christopher Chad Ford, 45, of Lake City, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at the HCA Florida – North Florida Hospital in Gainesville after a brief illness. He was born in Lake City on May 14, 1978 and has been a life-long resident of the area. He was a truck driver and was currently employed with Martin Trucking Company. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing computer games and cheering on the Florida State Seminoles. He is preceded in death by his father, Tim Cannon.
He is survived by his loving mother, Quinn Ford of Lake City; son, Christopher Gabriel Ford of Lake City; special aunt and uncle, Meb and Cecil Skeen of Lake City. Numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members also survive.
A celebration of life gathering will be held at his Aunt Meb’s home on Saturday, September 30, 2023. Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME.
