Cathy Johns Obituary

Cathy Sue Johns, 60 of Lake City, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at the Lake City Medical Center. She was a lifelong resident of Lake City and had worked for many years at the Lake City VA Hospital. Cathy was an animal lover and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Thomas; and her brother, Roger Thomas.

Survivors include her four children, Angel Stacy (Loyd), Lake City, Joanna Johns, Ft. White, Tabitha Johns, Lake Butler and Christie Johns, Lake City; her mother, Shirley Jean Rogers; four sisters, Belinda Thomas, Cindy Thomas, Nancy Starling (Thomas) and Lorie Lynn Froehlich (Robert), all of Lake City; eight grandchildren, Brandan Ohmer, Christian Ohmer, Dawson Stacy, Preston Stacy, Blaze Roberts, Zoey Roberts, Corbin Johns and Conner Johns; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

A celebration of Cathy’s life for family and friends will be held at a later date
