Carl William Bullard, Sr, of Olustee and Lake City, passed away peacefully, at home on February 23, 2024, at age 79. He leaves behind a loving and devoted wife and family who will miss his steady guidance and love in their lives.
Carl came from humble beginnings but went on to build Lake City Glass over 50 years ago. He proved to be an astute businessman throughout the rest of his life. He leaves a legacy of the lessons he learned from hard work and determination.
He enjoyed boating, hunting and fishing. He spent many hours, engaged in his passion, offshore fishing on the Gulf at Suwannee, and travelling to several countries. He spent his final years doing what he loved, camping, boating and cooking. He enjoyed being on the water and spending time with family and friends. He lived a good life.
Born May 13, 1944, he is preceded in death by his parents, Cozzie and Mildred Milton Bullard, a brother, Richard Bullard, one son, Dwayne “Worm” Bullard and one stepdaughter, Sara Prevatt.
Carl is survived by his wife, Amy Bullard; one son , Carl William Jr (Jolene); one sister, Barbara(Henry) Roberson; his grandchildren, Anelise Bullard, Dylan (Meghan) Bullard), Hunter (Deana) Bullard and Michael Boyle (Lauren) and family; and his great-grandchildren, Rusty, Myles and Berkleigh Bullard.
A graveside memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Olustee Cemetery with Pastor Gary Crummey and Honorable Joey Dobson, officiating.
