On this day, September 8, 2022, Brenda Kay Rangel, left her earthly body to sleep with the angels. At her time of passing, she was surrounded with love from her family. She was born in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Hagar and Versie Gullett on October 24, 1948. Brenda was a true loving Mother, Aunt, and Friend to all that she met. She was preceded in death by her parents; and 7 siblings.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Juan Rangel, daughters, Estella and Angelica Rangel and Donna (Tom) Patterson; son, Joe (Joey) Silva. She was also blessed with 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Brenda was blessed to have a large family which included 9 siblings with 2 surviving siblings, Debbie McKnight and Gary Gullett. Brenda will be greatly missed by many extended family members and friends. Brenda loved to play Bingo with her special friend Barbara Ramos.
A celebration of life service will be conducted on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Pastor Cagney Tanner officiating. A time of visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the chapel. The family would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to Solaris and Haven Hospice for all of their excellent care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center at 6037 W US Hwy 90, Lake City, FL 32055, in memory of Mrs. Rangel.
