Brenda Gail Humphreys

Brenda Gail Humphreys, 62, of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday morning, October 5, 2022 at the HCA Florida – Lake City Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Lake City on April 6, 1960 to Vera Powell McLaughlin and the late Charles Clyatt. She lived all of her life in Lake City and attended the Holiness Church when she was younger. She was a stay at home mom and homemaker all of her life; and loved her children and grandchildren dearly. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Duane Humphreys; her daughter, April Lucibello; her sister and brother-in-law, Rita & Will Bates; and her father, Charles Clyatt.

She is survived by her children, Ann Humphreys Keen (Shane) of Lake City & Shon Humphreys (Patricia) of Tampa; her mother, Vera McLaughlin of Albany, GA; and her brother, Joey Clyatt (Randi) of Albany, GA. Ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.

A Memorial Graveside Service for Mrs. Humphreys will be conducted on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 10:00 A.M.  in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
