Brandon Tyler Blanton

Brandon Tyler Blanton was born February 13, 1993 in Gainesville, Fl to Daniel Franklin Blanton and Leslie Beckman Blanton. Brandon passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. Brandon graduated from Suwannee High School in 2011 and was working for Robinson Renovations and Custom Homes in Gainesville. Brandon spent the last twelve years loving his wife Kacey Rae unconditionally. She and Lane were his number one priority and his main focus was loving and serving them. Brandon also enjoyed attending Destiny Community Church in Newberry. Anyone who knew Brandon will remember him as a diehard Seminole fan. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, and spend time taking care of his chickens. He also loved watching his son Lane play baseball. He is survived by his wife, Kacey Rae Blanton and his son, Lane Robert Blanton; his father and mother, Danny and Leslie Blanton; mother-in-law Denise Carpenter O’Steen; two sisters, Kaycie and Madison Blanton; his grandmother, Jeanette Blanton; nieces Emersyn Kinsey and Bowen Robinson; nephews Walker Robinson,  Walker Kinsey and Ryder Kinsey. Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Winton Blanton; and maternal grandparents, Dr. EJ and Kay Beckman. Visitation will be held at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Monday, May 15, 2023 from 2-3. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to an investment fund to assist his son Lane in the future.
