Bernardi San Juan “Ding” Dugay, 61 of Lake City, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2020, at the Lake City Medical Center in Lake City. He was born the first of seven children to the late Victor and Susana San Juan Dugay in Tarlac, Philippines. Mr. Dugay was a veteran and retired from the United States Marine Corps. He had made Lake City his home since 2010 having previously lived in Tampa, Florida and Staten Island, New York. Mr. Dugay was a devoted husband, brother and loving father and grandfather to his children. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of Epiphany Catholic Church in Lake City.
Survivors include his wife, Marisa Parks Padilla Dugay; two children, Steven Michael Dugay (Conni Duron) and Stephanie Marie Dugay (Jordan Beasley) all of Lake City; three brothers, Victor “Bong” Dugay, Jr. (Teresa), Staten Island, NY, Giovanni “Nani” Dugay (Yuko), Hasbrouck, NJ and Moses Joshua “Tet” Dugay (Evelyn), Los Angeles, CA; three sisters, Gina “Enang” Dugay Cowell (Chuck), Baldwinsville, NY, Ruby “Obie” Miller (Russell), NY, NY and Anna Leah “Baby” Johnson (Eric), Reston, VA; and one granddaughter, Alana Midori Beasley and one grandson, George Duron both of Lake City; and family friend, Renita Boyer, Lake City.
