Allan Eugene Crews

Allan Eugene Crews, 66 of Lake City, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020, at the Community Hospice Warner Center in Fernandina Beach, Florida following an extended illness.  Allan was born in Lake City on September 11, 1954 to the late Grady Crews and Elizabeth “Betty Jo” Bush Crews Laxton.  He was a graduate of Columbia High School class of 1972 and had worked for many years in Lake City in retail.  Allan’s passions in life included riding motorcycles, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his step father, Delbert Laxton and one son, Tyler Crews.

Survivors include his son, Justin Allan Crews (Ashley) and grandchildren, Jaxon, Ace, Aly and Evy Crews all of Fernandina Beach; his companion, Elizabeth Sizemore, Jasper; step brother, Gary Laxton, Lake City; and numerous extended work families and friends. 

A graveside memorial service will be conducted on Friday, December 18, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Cemetery in Lake City.  Interment will follow.  All friends and family are invited to attend.
