Mr. Albert M. “Al” Sandlin, 73, of Mascotte, FL went to be with
God on September 8, 2021 at the Mike Conley Hospice House
in Clermont. A native of Branford, Al was the son of the late
Roland and Myrtle Hall Sandlin. Al served in the United States
Air Force for four years. Al ministered at many churches all
around the country and served as Secretary of the Rotary Club
of Grinnell, IA. For the past 11 years, he was employed as a
licensed Life and Health Insurance Agent. For Al, serving his
Lord and spending time with his family were his greatest
pleasures.
Al is survived by his wife of 52 years, Charlotte Coleman
Sandlin of Mascotte, FL; daughters, Robin (Randy) Sink of
Chesterton, IN ;Kae Hovater of Clermont, FL; and Londa (Paul)
Nerland of Clovis, CA; brothers, Sonny Sandlin of Gardendale,
AL; Daryl (Benita) Sandlin of Branford, FL; and Virgil (ChaRue)
Sandlin of Cedar Key, FL; sisters, Pam (Ron) Thayer of Dothan,
AL, and Pat (Ben) Lindsey of Branford, FL; nine grandchildren
also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Albert Sandlin will be conducted at 2:00
P.M. Sunday, September 12, 2021 at the Gateway-Forest Lawn
Chapel with John Zellner officiating. Interment will follow at the
Burlington Santa Fe Cemetery in Branford. Visitation with the
family will be held prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at
the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to
