Mr. Zane Roger Bennett, Sr. 59, of Folkston, Georgia passed away on Monday August 19, 2024 at his residence following a lengthy illness. A native of Cuba, New York, he was the son of the late Earl Roger and Colleen Elizabeth Thompson Bennett. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and brother and loved hunting (especially going to New York every year to deer hunt) and fishing in Florida. He was a very hard worker and loved his family and would do anything he could to help anyone. His brother Zacheray Scott Bennett preceded him in death last year.

Mr. Bennett is survived by his wife, Debra A. Bennett; sons, Zane Bennett, Jr. (Shirl), Daniel Bennett (MaKayla), Cody Bennett (Riley), and Nathan Belt; daughter, Crystal Pinkston Gross (Lee); brother, Chad Bennett (Deborah); sister, Kim Nicholson (Chuck); grandchildren, Colton, Riverlynn, Eloise, Elizabeth, Cadence, Nolan, Ashlyn, Kylie, Greyson, Kierstyn, Landon, Kathrine, Kyla, and Skylar; sister in law Gail Bennett.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
