William Jason Harry, 43, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at the Suwannee Valley Care Center (Haven Hospice) with his family at his side. Jason is the son of Bill and Vickie Harry and Connie and Johnnie Norris, III. Jason was a lifelong resident of Lake City and attended Columbia High School he was a member of Southside Baptist Church, the Suwannee River Breast Cancer Awareness Association, and enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandson Theo.  Jason enjoyed bass fishing and building bass rods, and lures, and was an avid Florida State Seminoles Fan.

Jason is survived by his wife of eighteen years Amy Harry, two sons Tyler Harry (Rebecca) and Billy Friar (Julia) all of Lake City, FL. one daughter Olivia Benzing, Charolette, NC, two brothers Jeremy Bass, Clearwater, FL; and Jeffrey Bass, Lake City, FL; one sister Kelly Walker, Lake City, his parents Bill Harry (Vickie), Lake City, FL; and Connie Norris (Johnnie, III) Lake City, FL. His mother and father-in-law Gordon and Rita Cox. His maternal grandmother Wanda Russell, Lake City, FL., and Grandmother Eva Kite, Lake City, FL, and the joy of his life his grandson Theo Harry.

Funeral services for Jason will be conducted on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Southside Baptist Church in Lake City, FL with Pastor Richard Rodriguez officiating. Interment will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Lake City, FL. Visitation with the family will be held Friday evening June 21, 2024, at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Suwannee River Breast Cancer Awareness Association.
