Mr. William C. 'Billy' Roberts, Jr. 70, of Lake City passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at his residence. A native and lifelong resident of Lake City he was the son of the late William C. and Wilma Zeluan "Zeke" Roberts, Sr. Billy owned Bills Plumbing Company for 27 years and retired from the State of Florida after 15 years of service. He  enjoyed fishing, hunting, cookouts with family and friends and would always lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He is preceded in death by his brother, Joey Roberts and his sister-in-law, Pam Roberts.

Billy is survived by his brother, Wesley "Wes" Roberts; nephew, Ethan Roberts; niece, Erin Cannon (Billy); great nieces and nephew, Hannah, Briana, Aiden, and Ella Cannon, and Layla Roberts; sister in law, Becky Roberts; many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services for Billy will be held at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Lonnie Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held one hour before the service (10:00-11:00 A.M.) at the funeral home.
