Mr. Wiley Monroe Camper, Sr. 83, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at his residence following an extended illness. He is the son of the late Kenny Rollins and Ruby Pauline Saul Camper and was preceded in death by his wife Mary Frances Camper in October of 2012. one son Michael Camper, five brothers, Leroy, Herbert, John, Charles, and Gerald, and two sisters Peggy and Margaret. Mr. Wiley had made Lake City his home for the past fifty-plus years. He retired after thirty years of service from Clay Electric and was a member of the Lake City Elks Club and master Mason, he enjoyed tinkering with things and fishing and spending time on the Santa Fe River.

Mr. Wiley is survived by three sons Wiley Monroe Camper, Jr. (Sandra) Buford, GA; Herbert "Skeeter" Douberley (Tracy) Clarksville, TN; and Patrick Ray Thomas (Tiffany) Lake City, FL; one daughter Margie Hinkle (Dennis) Maynard, TN. One sister Sissy Booher, Bristol, TN. Eight grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Wiley will be held Thursday, June 22, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eric White and Reverend Mike Norman officiating. Visitation with the family will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2023, from 5:00 P.M. -7:00 P.M. at Gateway-Forest lawn Funeral Home. Interment will take place at a later date.
