Wesley James Harrington, 34, of Lake City, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday morning, June 11, 2025 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Lake City on September 11, 1990. He has been a lifelong resident of Lake City and was currently employed with Boeing in Jacksonville. He worked previously for TIMCO/HAECO in Lake City and also with Flightstar. In his younger years, he enjoyed "drifting' his cars and in his spare time enjoyed fishing and cheering on the Florida Gators. He is preceded in death by his nephew, Jadon Vaughn; and his grandparents, Frances Farnham, James Farnham, Harry Fulford, Jessie Sparks and Lee Sparks.

He is survived by his mother, Bobbie Prescott (Jeff) of Lake City; father, Albert "AL" Harrington of Lake City; Sister, Brandi Grant (Robbie) of Lake City; brothers, Christopher Hall (Paige) and Brayden Prescott both of Lake City; his girlfriend,  Lindsey Domingue of Lake City; paternal grandfather, Albert Harrington, Sr. of Lake City and his "furchild" Bailey. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.

A funeral service for Wes will be conducted on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Monday evening, June 16, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
