Wesley Evan Gucker

Mr. Wesley Evan Gucker, 74, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at the HCA Florida Lake City Hospital in Lake City, FL. He is the son of the late Jacob Evan and Doris Taylor Gucker and is preceded in death by one son, Evan Jehue Gucker, and a brother, Steven Evan Gucker. He had made is home in Lake City, Fl for the past twenty-two years after moving here from Houston, Texas. He was a member of Athens Baptist Church, enjoyed spending time with his family, watching NASCAR, mowing his yard, and Deer Hunting.

He is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Nettie Gucker, one son, Jacob Wesley Gucker, Lewis, New York, one daughter, Tara Alayne Gucker, Lake City, FL, one brother, Michael Evan Gucker, Crosby, Texas, and one grandchild, Pearl Rose Gucker.

A funeral service for Mr. Wesley Evan Gucker will be conducted on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at the Athens Baptist Church with Pastor Jason Hudson officiating. Interment will follow in the Athens Baptist Church Cemetery in Lake City, FL. In Lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to Athens Baptist Church Cemetery Fund 9090 SW CR 240 32024.
