Wendy Ann Melady, 52, of Lake City, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at her residence in Lake City, after a sudden illness. She was born in Bridgeton, NJ on October 20, 1967 and was a homemaker most of her life. She has made Lake City her home for the past 5 years, moving here from the Belleplain, NJ area. In her spare time, she loved gardening and fishing; but she especially loved her animals. She also loved to play on the computer. She is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Fred Melady, Jr.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Fred Melady; father, Charles Elwell (Joyce); mother, Carolyn Jannone; her two "fur children", Pepper and Oscar Melady; sister, Lori Ann Elwell; step sister, Stephanie Adams (Daryl) and step-brother, Chris Elwell (Teresa); mother-in-law, Kathryn Melady; brother-in-law, Patrick Melady (Michelle) and her sister-in-law's, Kati Melady Conway (Brian) and Kelli Melady Kircher (Mark). Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Per Mrs. Melady's wishes, no services have been scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
