Wayne H Nash

Mr. Wayne H. Nash, 86, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at his residence following an extended illness. He was the son of the late S.T. and Virgie Jones Nash, Sr. He is preceded in death by one daughter, Gina Free, and his brothers S.T. Nash, Jr, Winston, Tommy, Billy, and Jesse Nash, and one sister, Betty Nash. He made Lake City his home for the past seventy-nine years after moving from Polk County, FL. He worked and retired as a Public Defender for twenty -two years and was an avid golfer.

He is survived by his son Jason Nash (Merinda), Lake City, FL; his daughter Misti Hodges (BJ), Lake City, FL; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life for Mr. Wayne Nash will be held on Monday, April 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Lake City, FL. Friends and family are warmly invited to attend the service. Interment will immediately follow the Celebration of Life service.
